টানা পরাজয়ে মনোবল তলানিতে গিয়ে ঠেকেছে ত্রিপুরার ক্রিকেটারদের। পরপর তিন ম্যাচে পরাজিত হয়ে ‘ ই ‘ গ্রুপে শেষের স্থানে রয়েছে রাজ্য দল। এই অবস্থায় শুক্রবার শক্তিশালী বাংলার মুখোমুখি হতে চলেছে ত্রিপুরা। অনূর্ধ্ব ১৯ বালিকাদের টি-টোয়েন্টি ক্রিকেটে। নাগপুরের লেডি অমৃতবাই দাগা কলেজ মাঠে দুপুর ১:৩০ টায় মুখোমুখি হবে দুই দল। আপাতত তিন ম্যাচ খেলে বাংলা দুটি ম্যাচে জয় পেয়েছে। অপরদিকে তিন ম্যাচ খেলে পরাজয়ের গ্লানি মাথায় নিয়ে মাঠ ছেড়েছে ত্রিপুরার ক্রিকেটাররা। ওই অবস্থায় বড় কোনও অঘটন ছাড়া আজ টানা চতুর্থ ম্যাচে পরাজিত হতে চলেছে ত্রিপুরা তা আগাম বলা যায়। শেষ ম্যাচে মুম্বাইয়ের বিরুদ্ধে কিছুটা হলেও লড়াই করা মানসিকতা দেখিয়েছিলেন ত্রিপুরার ব্যাটসম্যানরা। বাংলা ম্যাচেও এঞ্জেল পাল-রা আরও ভালো খেলবেন তা বিশ্বাস করেন কোচ নারায়ণ চন্দ্র দে। তাই ভেঙ্গে পড়া দলীয় ক্রিকেটারদের মনোবল বাড়াতে আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করে চলছেন ত্রিপুরার টিম ম্যানেজমেন্ট। তবে মনোবল কতটা বাড়াতে পারবে তা বোঝা যাবে বাংলার ম্যাচেই।
