এবারও পদক হাতছাড়া হলো জুডোকার তানিয়া দাসের। বুধবার বেহেরানে অনুষ্ঠিত ইয়ুথ এশিয়ান গেমসের ক্যাডেট বিভাগে সেমিফাইনালে উঠে পদক জয়ের প্রত্যাশা জাগিয়েছিল উদয়পুরের বিবেকানন্দ জুডো সেন্টারের ঐ প্রতিভাবান জুডোকারটি। সেমিফাইনালে উজবেকিস্তানের জুডোকারের সঙ্গে তীব্র লড়াই করলেও জয় পেতে পারেনি শুধুমাত্র অভিজ্ঞতার অভাবে। শেষে রেফার চার্জেও পিছিয়ে পড়ে পদক হাতছাড়া হয় তানিয়ার। পদক না পাওয়াই স্বভাবতই মন খারাপ ভগিনী নিবেদিতা স্কুলের ওই ছাত্রীটি-র। তবে মন যাতে কোনওভাবে না ভাঙ্গে তাই টেলিফোনে ছাত্রীর সঙ্গে কথা বলেন কোচ ড:মিহির শীল। বোঝানোর চেষ্টা করেন সবেমাত্র শুরু তোমার। সামনে প্রচুর পথ খোলা। এদিন এক সাক্ষাৎকারে মিহির শীল বলেন, তানিয়া যাদের সঙ্গে পদক জয়ের লড়াই করছে ওদের বয়স কম করে ১৮। তানিয়ার মাত্র ১৫। সামনে আরও পথ এগিয়ে যেতে হবে তানিয়াকে। আশাকরি আগামী দিনে পদক জয় করবেই আন্তর্জাতিক আসর থেকে।
