আবারও জয়জয়কার উদয়পুরের বিবেকানন্দ জুডো সেন্টারের। দিল্লিতে অনুষ্ঠিত ৬৯ তম জাতীয় স্কুল অনূর্ধ্ব ১৯ জুডো প্রতিযোগিতায় দুটি রৌপ্য পদক জয় করল ওই সেন্টারের জুডোকাররা। ৪৪ কেজি বিভাগে উমা বেগম এবং ৪০ কেজি বিভাগে ইন্দ্রানী দাস রৌপ্য পদক জয় করে। ৪০ কেজি বিভাগে ইন্দ্রানী প্রথম ম্যাচে বাই পাওয়ার পর দ্বিতীয় ম্যাচে হরিয়ানা, তৃতীয় ম্যাচে কর্ণাটক এবং চতুর্থ ম্যাচে কেরালার জুডোকারকে পরাজিত করে ফাইনালে উঠে ছিল। স্বর্ণপদক জয়ের লড়াই য়ে দিল্লির জুডোকারের বিরুদ্ধে পরাজিত হয় গেল বছর ব্রোঞ্জ পদক জয়ী ইন্দ্রানী। অপরদিকে ৪৪ কেজি বিভাগে উমা বেগম প্রথম রাউন্ডে রাজস্থানকে, দ্বিতীয় রাউন্ডে বিহারকে, তৃতীয় রাউন্ডে উত্তরাখণ্ডকে এবং চতুর্থ রাউন্ডে দিল্লী জুডোকার কে পরাজিত করে ফাইনালে উঠেছিল। ফাইনালে মহারাষ্ট্রের জুডোকারের বিরুদ্ধে দুরন্ত লড়াই করলেও গেল বছর স্বর্ণপদক জয়ী উমা হেরে যায়। এবং রৌপ্য পদক জয় করেই সন্তুষ্ট থাকতে হয়েছে। দুই ছাত্রীকে অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছেন কোচ ডঃ মিহির শীল। প্রসঙ্গত: ৩০ জানুয়ারি থেকে শুরু হয়েছে আসর। চলবে ৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি পর্যন্ত।

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
