রাখাল শিল্ড নক আউট ফুটবল প্রতিযোগিতা শুরু শুক্রবার থেকে। আসরের উদ্বোধনী ম্যাচে বীরেন্দ্র ক্লাব খেলবে লালবাহাদুর ব্যায়ামাগারের বিরুদ্ধে। ঐদিন সন্ধ্যা ছয়টায় শুরু হবে ম্যাচটি। রাজ্য ফুটবল সংস্থা আয়োজিত আসরে। ওই আসরের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থাকার জন্য আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়েছে পর্যটন মন্ত্রী সুশান্ত চৌধুরীকে। ফুটবলে লাথি মেরে আসরের উদ্বোধন করবেন প্রাক্তন ফুটবলার ত্রিপুরা পুলিশের দীপঙ্কর দেব। এছাড়া উপস্থিত থাকবেন রাজ্য ফুটবল সংস্থার সভাপতি প্রণব সরকার, সচিব অমিত চৌধুরী সহ সংস্থার কর্তারা। এ খবর জানান নকআউট কমিটির সচিব কৃষ্ণ পদ সরকার । তিনি বলেন, আসর সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পন্ন করতে যাবতীয় উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে। প্রতিটি ম্যাচই হবে সন্ধ্যা ছয়টায় ফ্লাড লাইটে। আশা করি এবারের আসরে ভিড় জমাবেন ফুটবলপ্রেমীরা। সবকটি দলই ভালো দল গড়ার চেষ্টা করেছে। আশা করি রাজ্যের ফুটবলপ্রেমীরা ভালো খেলা দেখতে পারবে। এবছর রাখাল শিল্ডে অংশ নিয়েছে ১০টি দল: এগিয়ে চলো সংঘ, ফরোয়ার্ড ক্লাব, বীরেন্দ্র ক্লাব, লালবাহাদুর ব্যায়ামাগার, নাইন বুলেটস ক্লাব, ব্লাড মাউথ ক্লাব, জুয়েলস এসোসিয়েশন, টাউন ক্লাব, কল্যাণ সমিতি এবং রামকৃষ্ণ ক্লাব। সবকটি দলই আসরে সাফল্য পেতে জোর প্রস্তুতি নিয়ে নিচ্ছে।
