জয়ের ধারা অব্যাহত রাখলো স্কাইলার্ক ক্লাব। টানা দুই ম্যাচে জয়লাভ করে ‘বি’ গ্রুপের শীর্ষে রইলো স্কাইলার্ক ক্লাব। মহকুমা ক্রিকেট সংস্থা আয়োজিত সিনিয়র টি-টোয়েন্টি ক্রিকেটে। শুক্রবার এয়ারপোর্ট মাঠে অনুষ্ঠিত ম্যাচে স্কাইলার্ক ক্লাব ৩ উইকেটে পরাজিত করে সম্রাট ক্লাবকে। বিজয়ী দলের সুমন দেববর্মা দুরন্ত ব্যাটিং করেন। এদিন সকালে টসে জয়লাভ করে প্রথমে ব্যাট করতে নেমে সম্রাট ক্লাব ১০২ রান করতে সক্ষম হয়। দলের পক্ষে রাজেশ বিশ্বাস ৩০ বল খেলে দুটি বাউন্ডারি ও দুটি ওভার বাউন্ডারির সাহায্যে ২৯ এবং সুতাব দেব ১৫ গোল খেলে তিনটি বাউন্ডারি ও একটি ওভার বাউন্ডারির সাহায্যে ২০ রান করেন। দলের আর কোনও ব্যাটসম্যান দুই অঙ্কের রানে পা রাখতে পারেননি। স্কাইলার্ক ক্লাবের পক্ষে বিটন চক্রবর্তী ২১ রানে তিনটি, প্রসেনজিৎ রুদ্র পাল ২২ রানে এবং নিশিকান্ত দেবনাথ ২৬ রানে দুটি করে উইকেট দখল করেন। জবাবে খেলতে নেমে ৫৯ বল খেলে তিন উইকেট হারিয়ে জয়ের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় রান তুলে নেয় স্কাইলার্ক ক্লাব। দলের পক্ষে সুমন দেববর্মা ৩১ বল খেলে সাতটি বাউন্ডারি ও পাঁচটি বিশাল বড় বাউন্ডারি সাহায্যে ৭০ রানে অপরাজিত থেকে যান। এছাড়া দলের পক্ষে অভিরাজ বিশ্বাস ৭ বল খেলে তিনটি বাউন্ডারি সাহায্যে ১২ রান করেন।
