উদ্বোধনী ম্যাচে প্রোগ্রেসিভ ক্লাব খেলবে ব্লাড মাউথ ক্লাবের বিরুদ্ধে। ২৩ মার্চ হবে আসরের উদ্বোধন। মহকুমা ক্রিকেট সংস্থা আয়োজিত সিনিয়র ক্লাব লীগ কাম নকআউট ক্রিকেট আসরে। খেলা হবে বিদ্যাপীঠ মাঠে। ঐদিন আসরের উদ্বোধন করবেন দক্ষিণ জেলার জেলাশাসক স্মিতা মল। এছাড়া উপস্থিত থাকবেন ক্রীড়া পর্ষদের যুগ্ম সচিব স্বপন সাহা, সদস্য দ্বীপায়ন চৌধুরী, কাউন্সিলর অনুপম চক্রবর্তী, এক্সিকিউটিভ ইঞ্জিনিয়ার সুশান্ত দেববর্মা, সমাজসেবী সায়ন্তন দত্ত, স্কুল স্পোর্টস বোর্ডের সদস্য গৌতম সরকার, রাজ্য ক্রিকেট সংস্থার সাধারণ বডির সদস্য বাবুল দে প্রমূখ। এই বছর আসরে অংশ নিয়েছে দশটি দল। তাদের দুটি গ্রুপে রাখা হয়েছে। ‘এ’ গ্রুপে রয়েছে ওয়াই সি সি, প্রোগ্রেসিভ ক্লাব, দ্য নিউ স্টার ক্লাব, সাউথ বিলোনিয়া প্লে সেন্টার, বড়পাথরি ব্লাড মাউথ ক্লাব, ‘বি’ গ্রুপে রয়েছে ওরিয়েন্টাল ক্লাব, স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্পোর্টস ক্লাব, ইয়ুথ স্কোয়ার ক্লাব, ব্লাড মাউথ ক্লাব, এস বি সি নগর প্লে সেন্টার। প্রতি গ্রুপ থেকে তিনটি করে দল সুপার লিগে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করবে। ১৬ এপ্রিল থেকে শুরু হবে সুপার লিগের খেলা। ২৯ এপ্রিল এবং ১ মে হবে আসরের দুটি সেমিফাইনাল ম্যাচ। ফাইনাল ম্যাচ হবে ৪ মে। মহকুমা ক্রিকেট সংস্থার সচিব পার্থ চৌধুরীর আসরের ক্রীড়াসূচি ঘোষণা করেন।
