ডেস্ক ত্রিপুরার দাবার ইতিহাসে এবারই প্রথম। অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলেছে আন্ত:স্কুল দলগত ফিডে রেটিং দাবা প্রতিযোগিতা। দুদিনব্যাপী প্রতিযোগিতা শুরু হবে ২৬ জুলাই। অনূর্ধ্ব ১৪ এবং ১৭ বিভাগে। এন এস আর সি সি-র দাবা হলঘরে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে আসর। ১ জানুয়ারি ২০১১ সালের পর জন্ম দাবাড়ুরা অনুর্ধ ১৪ বিভাগে এবং ১ জানুয়ারি ২০০৮ সালের পর জন্ম দাবড়ুরা অনূর্ধ্ব ১৭ বিভাগে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করবে। প্রতিটি দলে থাকবে পাঁচ জন করে দাবাড়ু। এরমধ্যে চারজন খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করবে। একটি স্কুল থেকে বেশ কয়েকটি টিম আসরে অংশ নিতে পারে। আসরে অংশ নিতে ইচ্ছুক স্কুল গুলিকে প্রতিটি দলের জন্য এক হাজার টাকা এন্ট্রি ফি জমা দিতে হবে। ২০ জুলাই আসরে অংশ নেওয়া শেষ দিন। খেলা পরিচালনা করবেন আন্তর্জাতিক আরবীতে অনুপম ভট্টাচার্য। রাজ্য দাবা সংস্থার সচিব মিঠু দেবনাথ এ খবর জানান। তিনি বলেন, স্কুল স্তর থেকে প্রতিভাবান দাবাড়ু বের করে আনার লক্ষ্যেই রাজ্য দাবা সংস্থার বর্তমান কমিটির কর্তাদের ওই উদ্যোগ।
