অনুষ্ঠিত হলো ব্ল্যাক বেল্ট পরীক্ষা। ত্রিপুরা স্পোর্টস ক্যারাটে সংস্থার উদ্যোগে। রবিবার প্রান্তিক ক্লাবের অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ব্ল্যাক বেল্ট পরীক্ষা। সারা রাজ্য থেকে ২১ জনোই পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিয়েছিলেন। এর মধ্যে ১৩ জন উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছেন ব্ল্যাক বেল্ট পরীক্ষায়। ১৩ জনের মধ্যে প্রথম ডান পেয়েছে সায়ন কর্মকার, অনুত্তম বর্মন, বিপ্রজিত সাহা, অভীপ্সা নাথ, রাজবীর হক, দেবস্মিতা কর, রিক মজুমদার, দ্বিতীয় ডান পেয়েছে সোহিনী দেবনাথ, কৃষ্ণা দেবনাথ, তৃতীয় ডান পেয়েছে দ্বীপ সূত্রধর, সুহানা ঘোষ, অক্সিতা মজুমদার এবং চতুর্থ ডান পেয়েছে প্রসেনজিৎ দেববর্মা। পরে পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভারতীয় ক্রীড়া সাংবাদিক ক্লাবের সভাপতি সরজু চক্রবর্তী, রাজ্য সংস্থার সভাপতি দিব্যেন্দু দত্ত, সচিব কৃষ্ণ সূত্রধর, যুগ্ম সচিব যোগেন্দ্র মারাক এবং সমাজসেবী মেরি দেববর্মা। শেষে রাজ্য সংস্থার সচিব বলেন, “ওই খেলাকে রাজ্যে আরও জনপ্রিয় করে তোলার আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করে চলছি আমরা”। এদিন সকালে থেকেই শুরু হয় পরীক্ষা।
