জাতীয় অনূর্ধ্ব ১৫ বক্সিং প্রতিযোগিতার জন্য রাজ্য দল ঘোষিত। জাতীয় স্তরের প্রতিটি টুর্নামেন্টে অংশগ্রহণের চেষ্টা করছে ত্রিপুরা অ্যামেচার বক্সিং অ্যাসোসিয়েশন। বক্সিংয়ে রাজ্য দল গঠনের জন্য রবিবার সকালে এন এস আর সি সির বক্সিং হল-এ এক নির্বাচনী শিবির অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। অনূর্ধ্ব ১৫ বছর বয়স ভিত্তিক জাতীয় বক্সিং চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপ উত্তরপ্রদেশের গ্রেটার নয়ডাতে ৬-১৩ আগস্ট পর্যন্ত অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। রাজ্যদলে নির্বাচিত খেলোয়াড়রা হলো: বালিকা বিভাগে তস্মিতা শীল, সায়ন্তনী দেব, সম্প্রীতি বণিক, অর্পিতা মল্লিক, স্নেহা শীল। বালক বিভাগে অভ্রাংশু মজুমদার, রাজদীপ পাল, আদিত্য মন্ডল। নির্বাচিত খেলোয়াড় দের নিয়ে ২৬ জুলাই থেকে ২ আগস্ট পর্যন্ত সাতদিনের জন্য এন এস আর সি সি-র বক্সিং হল-এ প্রশিক্ষণের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। জাতীয় আসরে রাজ্য দল সাফল্য অর্জন করবে বলে আশাবাদী রাজ্য সংস্থা।ত্রিপুরা অ্যামেচার বক্সিং অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক সমীর সাহা এক বিবৃতিতে এ খবর জানিয়েছেন।
