ত্রিপুরার ক্রিকেট প্রেমীদের জন্য আজ এক ঐতিহাসিক দিন। রাজ্যের উদীয়মান ক্রিকেটারদের উৎসাহ প্রদান এবং আধুনিক পরিকাঠামো পৌঁছে দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে ত্রিপুরা ক্রিকেট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের উদ্যোগে , শনিবার রাজ্যের তিন জেলার তিনটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মহকুমা — বিলোনিয়া, জিরানিয়া এবং কৈলাশহরে একযোগে ‘অল-ওয়েদার ক্রিকেট প্র্যাকটিস শেড’-এর শুভ উদ্বোধন করা হলো।
একযোগে তিনটি ভেন্যুতে বর্ণাঢ্য আয়োজন। রাজ্যের যুবসমাজকে ক্রিকেটের প্রতি আরও আগ্রহী করে তুলতে এই আধুনিক শেডগুলো নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।যেখানে ঋতুভেদে আবহাওয়া নির্বিশেষে খেলোয়াড়রা তাদের অনুশীলন চালিয়ে যেতে পারবেন। এদিনের এই মহতী অনুষ্ঠানে তিনটি ভেন্যুতে টিসিএ-র সদস্য, বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ এবং ক্রীড়াপ্রেমী দর্শকদের উপস্থিতি ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো।
অনুষ্ঠানটির মূল আকর্ষণ ছিল তিনটি ভিন্ন স্থানে বিশিষ্ট অতিথিবর্গের সরাসরি উপস্থিতি ও ডিজিটাল সংযোগের এক অভূতপূর্ব সমন্বয়।
বিলোনিয়া ভেন্যু: অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে এই প্রকল্পের শুভ উদ্বোধন করেন ত্রিপুরার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী প্রফেসর (ডাঃ) মানিক সাহা। তিনি প্রদীপ প্রজ্বলনের মাধ্যমে বিলোনিয়া ভেন্যুর শুভ সূচনা করেন এবং রাজ্যের ক্রীড়া পরিকাঠামো উন্নয়নে সরকারের অঙ্গীকার পুনর্ব্যক্ত করেন। স্বাগত ভাষণ রাখেন ত্রিপুরা ক্রিকেট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক সুব্রত দে।
জিরানিয়া ভেন্যু: বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে সশরীরে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ত্রিপুরার পর্যটন দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী সুশান্ত চৌধুরী। তিনি জিরানিয়া অঞ্চলের তরুণ খেলোয়াড়দের উদ্দেশে অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বক্তব্য রাখেন। ত্রিপুরা ক্রিকেট এসোসিয়েশনের সহ-সভাপতি উপানন্দ দেববর্মা তার ভাষণে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলকে ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন করেন।
কৈলাশহর ভেন্যু: উত্তর ত্রিপুরার এই ভেন্যুতে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন যুব ও ক্রীড়া বিষয়ক দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী টিঙ্কু রায়। তাঁর উপস্থিতিতে কৈলাশহরের ক্রীড়ামোদীদের মধ্যে ব্যাপক উৎসাহ উদ্দীপনা দেখা যায়। টিসিএ-র কোষাধ্যক্ষ বাসুদেব চক্রবর্তীরও এই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
উদ্বোধনী ভাষণে বিলোনিয়ায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী প্রফেসর (ডাঃ) মানিক সাহা বলেন, “ক্রীড়া পরিকাঠামোর এই আধুনিকীকরণ আমাদের রাজ্যের ছেলে-মেয়েদের জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে সফল হতে সাহায্য করবে। আজকের এই অল-ওয়েদার শেড সেই লক্ষ্য পূরণের একটি বড় ধাপ।”
ত্রিপুরা ক্রিকেট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের এই সময়োপযোগী পদক্ষেপটি রাজ্যের ক্রিকেট ইতিহাসে এক মাইলফলক হিসেবে চিহ্নিত হয়ে থাকবে। এই নতুন পরিকাঠামো ভবিষ্যতে ত্রিপুরার প্রতিটি প্রান্ত থেকে নতুন নতুন প্রতিভা উঠে আসতে সহায়ক হবে বলে আশা প্রকাশ করছেন ক্রীড়া বিশেষজ্ঞরা।
