রাজ্য স্কুল বাস্কেটবল প্রতিযোগিতা শুরু মঙ্গলবার থেকে। খেলা হবে চড়িলামে। চলবে ৪ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত। রাজ্য আসর সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পন্ন করতে যাবতীয় উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে উদ্যোক্তা সংস্থার কর্তারা। আজ বিকেলে হবে আসরের উদ্বোধন। উদ্বোধনের পর একটি ম্যাচ হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে। এদিকে আসরে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য পশ্চিম জেলার দল ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। ঘোষিত দলে রয়েছে: কৃষ্ণেন্দু বনিক, জিৎ দেবনাথ, সৌম্যদীপ দেব, সায়ন চৌহান, উদয় দাস, দেবার্পন চক্রবর্তী, স্বরাজ সাহা, চাকলেং দেববর্মা, দেবেন্দ্র চক্রবর্তী, অর্ঘ্যদীপ সরকার, পুনম রবিদাস, মন্দিরা রবি দাস, আলপনা রবিদাস, বিপাশা সরকার, প্রীতিকণা দাস, উমা শীল, মৌমিতা চন্দ, রাধিকা সরকার এবং সৌমুগ্ধা দেব। কোচ শিশির দাস এবং শিপ্রা মজুমদার।
