কাশ্মীরের পহেল গ্রামের জঙ্গি হামলার ঘটনার রেশ আছড়ে পড়লো বিশ্ব ক্রিকেটে। পহেল গ্রামের ঘটনায় সরাসরি হাত রয়েছে পাকিস্তানের। এটা জলের মতো পরিষ্কার।ইতিমধ্যে ভারত কূটনৈতিক ভাবে পাকিস্তানের বিরুদ্ধে সাতটি কড়া পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে। ভারতের বিদেশ সচিব বিক্রম মিস্ত্রি দিল্লির সিদ্ধান্তের ঘোষণার পর পরই মাঠে নামে ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট কন্ট্রোল বোর্ড ( বিসিসিআই)। দেশের ক্রিকেট অভিভাবক সংস্থা জানিয়েছে, ” আসন্ন ভারত – পাক ক্রিকেট সিরিজ স্থগিত রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। পাকিস্তানের সঙ্গে ভারত এই সিরিজ খেলবে না।
বিসিসিআই জানিয়েছে, পাকিস্তান আর্মির যোগ সাজশে জঙ্গিরা পহেল গ্রামে নর সংহার চালিয়েছে। বেছে বেছে হত্যা করেছে হিন্দুদের। এটা মানা যায় না। এই ঘটনার প্রতিবাদে পাকিস্তানের সঙ্গে আসন্ন দুই দেশীয় ক্রিকেট সিরিজ বাতিল বলে ঘোষণা দিয়েছে বিসিসিআই।
