চারদিনব্যাপী রাজ্য জুডো প্রতিযোগিতা শুরু হবে ২৭ জুন। এবছর আগরতলায় হবে রাজ্য আসর। সাব জুনিয়র, জুনিয়র, ক্যাডেট এবং সিনিয়র পুরুষ এবং মহিলাদের হবে আসর। পাশাপাশি এ বারই প্রথম হবে ভেটারেন্স জুডো-র আসর। রবিবার রাজ্য জুডো সংস্থার কর্তাদের কার্যকরী কমিটির সভায় ও সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। আসন্ন পূর্বোত্তর ক্রীড়া উৎসব জুডো-তে যাতে ভালো ফলাফল করা যায় এর জন্য নেওয়া হচ্ছে বিভিন্ন পরিকল্পনা। যে সকল জেলাগুলি এখনো তাদের আসর সম্পন্ন করতে পারেনি তাদের ১৮ জুনের মধ্যে আসর সম্পন্ন করার জন্য অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে। এদিকে জাতীয় ফেডারেশন থেকে বিভিন্ন বিভাগে খেলোয়ারদের শংসাপত্র কিছুদিন আগে এসেছিল রাজ্য সংস্থার এদিন সভায় কোচদের হাতেও শংসাপত্র তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। খেলোয়ারের কোচ থেকে ওই সংশাপত্র নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য সাধারণ সম্পাদক প্রণব সাহা অনুরোধ করেছেন।
