আগামী এক বছরের জন্য বহিষ্কার করা হলো ফুটবলার পারভেজ সুলতান কে। রবিবার রাজ্য ফুটবল সংস্থার গভর্নিং বডির বৈঠকে ওই সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। এবছর এগিয়ে চলো সংঘের হয়ে খেলার জন্য চুক্তিবদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন ওই ফুটবলারটি। কিন্তু ক্লাবের নকল সই জাল করে দিল্লিতে গিয়ে খেলেছিলেন পারভেজ। এর প্রতিবাদ এগিয়ে চলো সংঘ থেকে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। জানা গেছে শুধু এগিয়ে চলো সঙ্গে নয়, এ বছর ব্লাড মাউথ ক্লাবের থেকেও খেলার কথা বলে আর্থিক সহায়তা নিয়েছিলেন। এই দিনের সভায় পারভেজকে আগামী এক বছরের জন্য বহিষ্কার করা হলো। শুধু এবারই নয় এর আগেও ভারতীয় দলের হয়ে খেলার কথা বলে সংবাদ শিরোনামে চলে এসেছিলেন ওই পারভেজ। কার্যত তা ছিল মিথ্যে। ত্রিপুরার ফুটবলকে অনেকটা নিচু স্তরের নিয়ে আনার পরিকল্পনা ছিল ওই ফুটবলারটির। যা এদিন মেনে নিতে পারেননি রাজ্য ফুটবল সংস্থার কর্তারা। রাজ্য ফুটবল সংস্থার অফিস বাড়িতে অনুষ্ঠিত সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন পেট্রন রতন সাহা, সভাপতি প্রণব সরকার সহ অন্যান্য কর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তাতে পারভেজের ওই সিদ্ধান্তের নিন্দা করেন সকলে। ফেডারেশন থেকে বলা হয়েছিল পারভেজ এ বছর এগিয়ে চলো সঙ্গে হয়ে খেলতে পারবে। কিন্তু এগিয়ে চলো তা নাকচ করে দেয়। তারপরই শুরু হয় জলখোলা। শেষে রাজ্য ফুটবল সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে গভর্ণিং বডির সভায় সিদ্ধান্ত হয় পারভেজকে আগামী এক বছরের জন্য বহিষ্কার করা। এছাড়া সিদ্ধান্ত হয় রাখাল শীল্ড নকআউট ফুটবলের জন্য ভিন রাজ্য থেকে দুজন রেফারী আনা হবে।
