ত্রিপুরা ভলিবল অ্যাসোসিয়েশন এবং খোয়াই জেলা ভলিবল অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের যৌথ উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত সিনিয়র রাজ্য ভিত্তিক ৪৭তম কৃষ্ণ সাহা এবং ৩৮তম মিলন রানী সাহা স্মৃতি পুরুষ ও মহিলা ভলিবল চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের সফল সমাপ্তি ঘটলো। খোয়াইয়ের মাটিতে আয়োজিত এই টুর্নামেন্টের ফাইনাল ম্যাচে পশ্চিম জেলা তাদের আধিপত্য বজায় রেখে উভয় বিভাগেই শিরোপা অর্জন করেছে।
পুরুষ বিভাগের ফাইনালে পশ্চিম জেলা এবং ধলাই জেলা মুখোমুখি হয়। হাড্ডাহাড্ডি লড়াইয়ের পর ধলাই জেলাকে পরাজিত করে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হওয়ার গৌরব অর্জন করে পশ্চিম জেলা।মহিলা বিভাগে ফাইনাল ম্যাচে পশ্চিম জেলার প্রতিপক্ষ ছিল সিপাহীজলা জেলা। এই বিভাগেও অসাধারণ ক্রীড়াশৈলী প্রদর্শন করে জয় ছিনিয়ে নেয় পশ্চিম জেলা। খেলা শেষে জমকালো অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে বিজয়ীদের হাতে ট্রফি ও পুরস্কার তুলে দেওয়া হয়। পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থেকে খেলোয়াড়দের উৎসাহিত করেন ত্রিপুরা স্পোর্টস কাউন্সিলের সচিব সুকান্ত ঘোষ, যুগ্ম সচিব স্বপন সাহা, এবং ত্রিপুরা অলিম্পিক অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সচিব সুজিত রায়।এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন ত্রিপুরা ভলিবল অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের এডভাইজারি কমিটির কনভেনর স্বপন চক্রবর্তী , ত্রিপুরা ভলিবল অ্যাসোসিয়েশন এর সহ-সভাপতি মৃণাল দাস, সম্পাদক বিমান দেব, কোষাধ্যক্ষ উত্তম মালাকার, সহ-সম্পাদক তাপস নাগ এবং মিডিয়া ইনচার্জ ও রেফারি বোর্ডের যুগ্ম কনভেনর মনীষ দেবনাথ, সদস্যা লিলি চক্রবর্তী, সদস্য প্রবীর দেব্বর্মা, অবজারভার হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রবীর সাহা।অনুষ্ঠানে অন্যান্যদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিনয় দেববর্মা এবং খোয়াই জেলা ভলিবল অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি অনিমেষ নাগ সহ বিশিষ্ট অতিথিবৃন্দ। অতিথিরা তাঁদের বক্তব্যে রাজ্যের ভলিবল চর্চাকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার ওপর জোর দেন এবং বিজয়ী দলগুলোকে অভিনন্দন জানান।
