পরিবর্তন হলো সভাপতি। রাজ্য টেবিল টেনিস সংস্থার। প্রাক্তন সভাপতি তথা নলছরের বিধায়ক কিশোর বর্মন দীর্ঘদিন ধরে পদ থেকে সরে যাওয়ার অনুরোধ করে আসছিলেন। রবিবার রাজ্য সংস্থার বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভায় নতুন করে রাজ্য সংস্থার সভাপতি নির্বাচিত হলেন সমাজসেবী রতন চন্দ্র দাস। এন এস আর সি সি-র মিলনায়তনে অনুষ্ঠিত সভায় এদিন বেশ কিছু সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। সভা শেষে সংস্থা সচিব অজয় দত্ত বলেন, সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে মে মাসের শেষ সপ্তাহে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে সামার মিট, ৬-২০ অক্টোবরের মধ্যে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে রাজ্য টি টি প্রতিযোগিতা। এছাড়া গঠন করা হবে বিভিন্ন সাব কমিটি। ১০ মে সকাল ১১ টায় এন এস আর সি সি তে এক সভায় মহিলা সাব কমিটি, ভেটারেন্স সাব কমিটি এবং আম্পেয়ার সাব কমিটি গঠন করা হবে। সংবিধান সংশোধন প্রক্রিয়া নিয়েও এদিন আলোচনা হয়। এছাড়া সিদ্ধান্ত হয় রাজ্য সরকারের কাছে আবেদন জানানো হবে যাতে প্রতিটি জেলায় একটি করে টেবিল টেনিস বোর্ড এবং কোচ দেওয়া হয় প্রতিভাবান খেলোয়াড়দের বের করে আনার জন্য। এদিনের সভায় দক্ষিণ জেলা ছাড়া প্রতিটি জেলার সংস্থার সচিব-রা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
