উৎসাহ এবং উদ্দীপনার মধ্য দিয়ে শেষ হলো রাজ্য মাস্টার্স অ্যাথলেটিক্স প্রতিযোগিতাw। রবিবার দু দিনব্যাপী আসর শেষ হয় বাধারঘাটের দেবভক্তি অ্যাটলেটিক্স স্টেডিয়ামে। এবারের আসর থেকে জাতীয় আসরের জন্য প্রাথমিকভাবে বাছাই করা হয়েছে ত্রিপুরা দল।
মোট ৬৮ টি বিভাগে হয় প্রতিযোগিতা। তাতে শোভা দেব, বিকাশ দেববর্মা, রিপন দাস, দেবাশীষ মজুমদার, মাহাবুল আলম, তপন শীল, কমল পাল, দীনেশ চন্দ্র দাস, মৃণাল দাস,ছোহবত উল্লা, খেলা দেবনাথ, স্মৃতি পাল, কানন দাস দেব, চিত্রা দাস, খেলা দেবনাথ, তাপসী দেবদাস, অর্চনা বণিক, চন্দনা দাস সাহা, জবা পাল দত্ত, শেফালী বর্ধন, প্রতিভা দাস, পরিমল ঘোষ, নির্মল চক্রবর্তী, তিমির চন্দ্র দাস, দুলাল দাস, রত্না খাতুন, পার্থ সারথি বণিক, আশিস কর, নিলানী রঞ্জন দেবনাথ, লক্ষণ চন্দ্র দে, লিটন দেব, বিকাশ দেববর্মা, সঞ্জীত দেবনাথ, মইন পাল, মৃণাল চন্দ্র বিশ্বাস, মাহাবুল আলম প্রথম স্থান দখল করেন। রাজ্য মাস্টার আথলিটদের আরো কিভাবে উন্নতি করা যায় তা নিয়ে খেলা চলাকালীনই রাজ্য সংস্থার কর্তারা প্রাথমিক আলোচনা সেরে নিয়েছেন বলে জানা গেছে। উপস্থিত ছিলেন রাজ্য সংস্থার সভাপতি পঙ্কজ বিহারী সাহা সচিব আশিস পালসহ রাজ্য সংস্থার অন্যান্যকর্তারা। বয়স এক আথলিটদের কাছ থেকে অনেক কিছু ছিনিয়ে নিলেও নিতে পারেনি শিল্পের সেই ছোঁয়া তা আবার প্রমাণিত হলো এদিন মাঠে।
