চতুর্থ তথা শেষ দিনে ত্রিপুরার দখলে একটি স্বর্ণপদকসহ দুটি পদক। চারদিনে ত্রিপুরা মোট ৭টি স্বর্ণপদকসহ ২৮ টি পদক জয় করেছে। কেরলের তিরুবন্তপুরমে অনুষ্ঠিত ৪৬ তম জাতীয় মাস্টার্স অ্যাথলেটিক্স প্রতিযোগিতায়। ওই রাজ্যের নেহেরু স্টেডিয়ামে রবিবার ৪৫ বছর ঊর্ধ্ব বিভাগে ট্রাক এন্ড ফিল্ডে রীতিমতো ঝড় তুলে ৩০০০ মিটার স্টীপল চেস এ স্বর্ণপদক জয় করেন মাহবুব আলম। এছাড়া ৬৫ বছর ঊর্ধ্ব বিভাগে পুরুষদের রেলিতে ত্রিপুরা ব্রোঞ্জ পদক জয় করেছে। রাজ্য মাস্টার অ্যাথলেটিক্স সংস্থার সচিব আশিস পাল এ খবর জানিয়েছেন। তিনি পদক জয়ী খেলোয়ারদের অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছেন। রাজ্য সংস্থার সভাপতি পঙ্কজ বিহারী সাহা অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছেন আথলিটদের।
