ব্যাপক উৎসাহ উদ্দীপনার মধ্য দিয়ে সম্পন্ন হল আন্তঃ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভলিবল প্রতিযোগিতা। আসরে আধিপত্য দেখিয়ে শিরোপা দখল করলো গভমেন্ট ডিগ্রি কলেজ খুমুলুঙ। দুদিন ব্যাপী আসর শেষ হয় বুধবার।আসরে রানার্স ত্রিপুরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাস টিম। তৃতীয় স্থান দখল করে রাম ঠাকুর কলেজ আগরতলা। চতুর্থ ঈশ্বরচন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগর কলেজ বিলোনিয়া। পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠানে স্পোর্টস বোর্ডের সচিব পি কে দাস সহ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আধিকারিকরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। আসর থেকে প্রাথমিকভাবে বাছাই করা হয় খেলোয়ারদের বলে জানা গেছে। যাদের দিনে আগামী দিনে গঠন করা হবে ত্রিপুরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দল। জাতীয় আসরে অংশ নেওয়ার জন্য। এ বছর উদ্যোক্তাদের ব্যবস্থাপনায় খুশি বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে আসা খেলোয়াররা।
