উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য মঙ্গলবার বহি: রাজ্যের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা দিয়েছে প্রতিভাবান ক্রিকেটার নিশিকা দেববর্মা। ত্রিপুরা মেডিকেল কলেজ থেকে ছুটি নিয়ে রবিবার নিজ বাড়িতে ফিরেছিলো গেলো বছর ত্রিপুরা অনূর্ধ্ব ১৫ দলের হয়ে খেলা এই ক্রিকিটারটি। বেশ কিছুদিন ধরেই একটি দুরারোগ্য রোগে আক্রান্ত ছিল। শেষে ভর্তি হয় হাঁপানিয়াস্থিত টিএমসিতে। আর্থিক সমস্যায় জর্জরিত নিশিকার পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছিলো আগরতলার সিনিয়র ক্রিকেটাররা। নিশিকার হাতে তুলে দিয়েছিলেন ১৬ হাজার টাকা। পাশাপাশি খেল ফাউন্ডেশন থেকে ১০ হাজার টাকা তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছিলো। সোমবার মহকুমা ক্রিকেট সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে এক প্রতিনিধি দল নিশিকার সঙ্গে দেখা করেন। শান্তির বাজার মহকুমা ক্রিকেট অ্যাসোসিয়েশন এ-র সভাপতি, সম্পাদক, কোষাধ্যক্ষ সহ এক প্রতিনিধি দল অসুস্থ মহিলা ক্রিকেটার নিশিকার বাড়িতে উপস্থিত হয়ে আর্থিক সহায়তা করেন। জানা গেছে মহকুমা ক্রিকেট সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে ১০ হাজার টাকা দেওয়া হয় নিশিকার উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য। মহকুমা ক্রিকেট সংস্থার কর্তাদের ধন্যবাদ জানিয়েছেন নিশীকার বাবা ও মা।
