গুরুবারে সেমি ফাইনালে যাওয়ার লড়াই । গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ম্যাচে মুখোমুখি হবে দুই শক্তিশালী দল ত্রিপুরা পুলিশ এবং আসাম পুলিশ। ঐতিহ্যবাহী জেনারেল পদ্মজং আমন্ত্রণ মূলক প্রাইজ মানি ফুটবল আসরে। কৈলাসহর রামকৃষ্ণ মহাবিদ্যালয় মাঠে এদিন দুপুর আড়াইটায় শুরু হবে ম্যাচটি। এই ম্যাচে মাঠে নামার আগে বুধবার শেষ প্রস্তুতি সেরে নেয় দু’দলের ফুটবলাররা।
এদিকে চতুর্থ দিনের ম্যাচটি বুধবার অনিবার্য কারণবশতঃ পিছিয়ে যায়। আয়োজক কমিটির সচিব পিন্টু ঘোষ সাংবাদিকদের সামনে এমন তথ্যই পরিবেশন করেন। পাশাপাশি তিনি এটাও জানান যে, এই ম্যাচ ৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। ম্যাচে ত্রিপুরার ওয়াইডিএ দলের মুখোমুখি হওয়ার কথা ছিল মণিপুরের টিআরএডি দলের। কান পাতলেই শোনা যায় দু’দলের বেশ কয়েকজন ফুটবলার অসুস্থ থাকায় ম্যাচটি পিছিয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য অনুরোধ করা হয়েছিল। দু’দলের কর্তাদের অনুরোধে সাড়া দিয়েই ম্যাচটি পিছিয়ে দিয়েছে আয়োজক কমিটি।
