সেরা হলেন খেলো ইন্ডিয়ার সৌরভ হোসেন এবং লক্ষী রাণী ত্রিপুরা। ৭৯ তম স্বাধীনতা দিবস উপলক্ষে ক্রশ কান্ট্রি দৌড় প্রতিযোগিতায়। ক্রীড়া দপ্তরের উদ্যোগে বৃহস্পতিবার বালকদের ৫ কিমি এবং বালিকাদের ৩ কিমি দৌড় প্রতিযোগিতা হয়। রাজবাড়ীর প্রথম গেটের সামনে থেকে শুরু হয় দৌড়। শেষে দুই বিভাগে বিজয়ী প্রথম ১০ স্থনাধিকারি আথলিটকে পুরস্কৃত করা হয়। দৌড়ে বালক বিভাগে প্রথম ১০ জন হলেন সৌরভ হোসেন, অনিমেষ দে, নিশান্ত মজুমদার, তুষার পাল, রাজা চৌধুরী, নিথিন এস, ভিজেন্দ্র সিং রাঠোর, অনিকেত শীল, বীর প্রতাপ দাস এবং বিনোদ কে। বালিকা বিভাগে প্রথম ১০ টি স্থান দখল করেন যথাক্রমে লক্ষী রাণী ত্রিপুরা, সুনিতা চাকমা, অন্তরা ঘোষ, সৃজিত দাস, দেবলীনা লোধ, তৃষা দেব, স্নেহা দেব, জয়শ্রী সাহা, রিমশা মিত্র এবং পারমিতা ঘোষ।
