ছিটকে গেলো ত্রিপুরা। পাঞ্জাবের জলন্ধরে অনুষ্ঠিত জাতীয় জুনিয়র হকি প্রতিযোগিতা থেকে। বুধবার পুদুচেরির বিরুদ্ধে দুরন্ত লড়াই করলেও সুযোগ নষ্টের খেসারত দিতে হয়েছে রাজ্য দলকে। ওই রাজ্যের সুরজিৎ হকি স্টেডিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত ম্যাচে এদিন পুদুচেরীর বিরুদ্ধে ৪-০ গোলে পরাজিত হয় ত্রিপুরা। প্রসঙ্গত প্রথম ম্যাচে কেরলের বিরুদ্ধে ১৪-১ গোলে পরাজিত হয়েছিল রাজ্য দল। এ দিন শুরু থেকেই বিপক্ষের উপর আক্রমণ সানাই রাজ্য দলের খেলোয়াড়রা। তিন তিনটি পেনাল্টি পেলেও বল জালে ঠেলতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছেন রাজ্য দলের খেলোয়াড়রা। খেলা শেষে হতাশ ত্রিপুরা দলের ম্যানেজার আশীষ দেব বলেন, যে সুযোগ আমরা পেয়েছি তা যদি ছেলেরা কাজে লাগাতে পারতো তাহলে ম্যাচের ফলাফল অন্যরকম হতো। পেনাল্টি সহ বেশ কয়েকটি সহজ সুযোগ নষ্ট করেছে আমাদের ছেলেরা। মূলত অভিজ্ঞতার অভাবে এমন হয়েছে। তবে বিশ্বাস করি এবারের অভিজ্ঞতা আগামী দিনে আমাদের ছেলেদের ভালো খেলতে সাহায্য করবে। ‘ বি ‘ গ্রুপে টানা দুই ম্যাচে পরাজিত হলো ত্রিপুরা। শুক্রবার নিজেদের শেষ ম্যাচে ত্রিপুরা খেলবে তেলেঙ্গানার বিরুদ্ধে। ওই ম্যাচে ত্রিপুরার খেলোয়াররা আরও ভালো খেলবে বিশ্বাস করেন দলের ম্যানেজার।
