ঘোষিত হল ত্রিপুরা দল। জাতীয় অনূর্ধ্ব ১৬ হকি প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণের জন্য। ১-৭ অক্টোবর পুনেতে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে নবম এস এইচ বি পি জাতীয় অনূর্ধ্ব ১৬ হকি প্রতিযোগিতা। তাতে অংশগ্রহণের লক্ষ্যে রবিবার হয়েছিল নির্বাচনী শিবির। এ ডি নগর পুলিশ হকি মাঠে। এই শিবিরে অংশ নিয়েছিল ৩৬ জন খেলোয়ার। তাদের মধ্য থেকে ১৬ জনকে বাছাই করা হয় ত্রিপুরা দলের জন্য। নির্বাচিত খেলোয়াড়রা হলো: পিন্টু দাস, বিশ্বজিৎ রায়, আকাশ দেব, সম্রাট সাহা, জিৎ ভদ্র, জাহির আব্বাস, অভিজিৎ রায়, গৌরব দাস, রণবীর শুক্ল দাস, জয় রুদ্রপাল, প্রিয়াঙ্কর সরকার, জয় আচার্য, কৌশিক চৌধুরী, অনুপম শুক্ল দাস, উদয় ঘোষ এবং তানিশ দেবনাথ। স্ট্যান্ডবাই হিসেবে রাখা হয়েছে রাহুল দেব, প্রণয় পাল এবং জিৎ চক্রবর্তীকে । হকি ত্রিপুরা সংস্থার যুগ্ম সচিব আশিষ দেব নির্বাচিত খেলোয়ারদের নাম ঘোষণা করেছেন।
