আন্তর্জাতিক যোগ দিবস ২০২৫ উদযাপন উপলক্ষে, বুধবার সকালে ত্রিপুরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এক প্রাণবন্ত সাইকেল র্যালির আয়োজন করা হয়। এই র্যালির যৌথ আয়োজক ছিল ত্রিপুরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শারীরশিক্ষা ও ক্রীড়া পর্ষদ বিভাগ এবং আগরতলা সাইকোহোলিকস ফাউন্ডেশন। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রশাসনিক ভবনের ফটক থেকে সকাল ৬:৩০-এ র্যালি শুরু হয়ে হাপনিয়া বাজার পর্যন্ত গিয়ে শেষ হয়।উপাচার্য প্রফেসর গঙ্গা প্রসাদ প্রসাইন এই র্যালির সূচনা করেন। র্যালির মূল বার্তা ছিল “যোগ ও প্যাডেলে সুস্থতা” – যার মাধ্যমে শারীরিক ও মানসিক সুস্থতা, পরিবেশবান্ধব যাতায়াত এবং সচেতনতা ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়। অংশগ্রহণকারীরা যোগ, নির্মল বায়ু এবং সাইকেল চালনার উপকারিতা নিয়ে প্ল্যাকার্ড বহন করেন।আই ডি ওয়াই ২০২৫ উদযাপন কর্মসূচির সমন্বয়কারী প্রফেসর প্রশান্ত কুমার দাস জানান, ‘এই ধরনের উদ্যোগ ভবিষ্যতে নিয়মিত আয়োজন করা উচিত, যা ছাত্র-ছাত্রী এবং অধ্যাপকদের মধ্যে সাইকেল চালনার আগ্রহ বাড়াবে।’১০ দফা প্রস্তাব পেশ করলো আগরতলা সাইকোহোলিকস র্যালির পর, আগরতলা সাইকোহোলিকস ফাউন্ডেশন — ২০১৬ সাল থেকে সক্রিয় একটি অলাভজনক ট্রাস্ট — ত্রিপুরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসনের কাছে একটি ১০ দফা প্রস্তাব পেশ করে, যাতে ক্যাম্পাসে দীর্ঘমেয়াদী সাইকেল চালনার সংস্কৃতি গড়ে তোলা যায়। এই প্রস্তাবটি দেন সরকারি আর্ট অ্যান্ড ক্রাফ্ট কলেজের শিক্ষক গোপেশ দেবনাথ। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কাছে প্রস্তাবিত ১০টি পদক্ষেপ:নবীন ও মহিলা ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জন্য সাইকেল প্রশিক্ষণ শিবির,সি সি টি ভি সহ নিরাপদ ও ঢেকে রাখা সাইকেল পার্কিং ও মেরামতি টুলস।, সাপ্তাহিক রাইড ও ইভেন্ট পরিচালনার জন্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সাইকেল ক্লাব গঠন, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসনের সাথে একটি সমঝোতা স্মারক স্বাক্ষর,সাইকেল চালনার মাধ্যমে কার্বন নিঃসরণ হ্রাসের পরিসংখ্যান রাখা, নিয়মিত সাইকেল চালকদের পুরস্কার ও সম্মাননা প্রদান, এনএসএস/এনসিসি প্রোগ্রামের সাথে মিলিয়ে সচেতনতা মূলক রাইড, শারীরিক শিক্ষার অংশ হিসেবে সাইকেল ও রোড সেফটি ভিত্তিক পাঠক্রম,প্রতি বছর সাইকেল ফেস্ট বা সাইকেল দিবস উদযাপন এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গণে সাইকেল চালনার সাফল্য প্রদর্শনের জন্য ওয়াল বা ডিজিটাল বোর্ড।এই প্রস্তাবগুলোর মাধ্যমে ত্রিপুরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় একটি পরিবেশবান্ধব, সুস্থ ও সাইকেল-বান্ধব ক্যাম্পাসে রূপান্তরিত হতে পারে।আগরতলা সাইকোহোলিকস ফাউন্ডেশন এই উদ্যোগের বাস্তবায়নে প্রশিক্ষণ, তথ্য সংগ্রহ, সচেতনতা গড়ে তোলা এবং বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের সঙ্গে সমন্বয় সাধনে সম্পূর্ণ সহযোগিতা করবে। এই প্রচেষ্টা ফিট ইন্ডিয়া, স্বচ্ছ ভারত ও জাতীয় শিক্ষা নীতির মূল লক্ষ্যগুলির সঙ্গে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ।
