রাখাল শিল্ড নকআউট ফুটবল প্রতিযোগিতা শুরু ১১ জুলাই থেকে। বুধবার আসরে অংশ নেওয়া ক্লাবগুলিকে নিয়ে লিগ কমিটির সভায় ওই সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। রাজ্য ফুটবল সংস্থার অফিস বাড়িতে হয় সভা। তাতে সিদ্ধান্ত হয় ১১ জুলাই থেকে শুরু হবে রাখাল শিল্ড নক আউট ফুটবল প্রতিযোগিতা। অংশ নিতে ইচ্ছুক দলগুলিকে ১৫ জুনের মধ্যে এন্ট্রি নিতে হবে। ফুটবলারদের নাম রেজিস্ট্রেশন করতে হবে ৭-৯ জুলাইয়ের মধ্যে। প্রাথমিকভাবে ১১ টি দল আসরে অংশ নেওয়ার সম্মতি জানিয়েছে। এরমধ্যে প্রথম ডিভিশন ফুটবলের নয়টি দল রয়েছে। এ খবর জানান রাখাল মেমোরিয়াল নক আউট ফুটবল টুর্নামেন্ট কমিটির সম্পাদক কৃষ্ণপদ সরকার।
